If you write using Microsoft Word and publish your books to KDP on Amazon, you’ll absolutely love this FREE add-in formatting tool. I’ve been using it for almost a year. It’s a great time saver and easy to use.

Kindle Create has several sections on the Word Ribbon bar. They are the Getting started, Insert into book, Apply Common Elements, Apply elements by type, Current paragraph formatting, review, and prep for publish. Each section has its own functions.

Here are some of the tasks that Kindle Create performs:

  • Formats chapter titles
  • Formats subtitles
  • Formats the chapter first paragraph drop caps
  • Formats Headers, margins, and page numbers
  • You can also insert serval other pre-formatted pages like a table of contents, dedication page, copyright page, etc.
  • You can upload the same finished document .doc of .docx for both your eBook and paperback to KDP
